This year is the first year ever that I have not been with my family for the Holidays. To keep from dwelling on the fact that I had to work over the holiday season, Piet and I decided to keep our holiday season packed with activities - specifically a 10 mile hike on Christmas Day. We anchored out Christmas Eve in Ayala Cove at Angel Island, then traversed the island Christmas morning before heading back to our cozy slip (and shore power!) in Sausalito.
