The image above reminds me of a Richard Diebenkorn painting -- after being in California, I feel like I've gotten so much more insight into Diebenkorn's way of breaking scenes down to the basics. 

The Bridge

A few from a couple of evenings ago - just missed the wonderful light on the swell beneath the bridge, but still a view that is always pretty captivating -- or at least Piet seems to think so!
