A smattering from a roll of 35mm from my mom's Nikon FM2 -- Using Fuji film 400

I love the natural grainy-ness and vignette that film has.  While images are sharp, there is an inherently softer quality to film images than with digital, which I like.  The first image of my friends chandelier in her Amsterdam apartment, I love the slightly out of focus nature of the image, and how can you resist an antique chandelier and those beautifully crafted ceilings.

This past week I have been dog sitting for two wonderfully well behaved dogs.  Much better behaved than my monster, Wiley.  It is so great to see how dogs get along; not just how they interact with one another but also how they interact with people.  Immediately offering their love and affection, dogs really are the best gift.  They are truly able to sort things out on their own, and I am constantly amazed how smart they are! The labs are so sweet, and definitely not as sneaky and destructive as Wiley can be.
