Nothing is better than going home for the holidays. Recently my husband, Piet, and I jetted across the ocean for two weeks stateside with friends and family. We met my new nephew, Sam, had Thanksgiving at my parents house on the river in Virginia, we set a beautiful table, all the while giving thanks for all of our travels, blessings, and family.
Along with the idea of portraits can include just about anything -- here are a few of Piet in his element. Driving my mom's beautiful old college car. The car is fantastic, and I love coming home to Alexandria, not just for family and friends but for these long drives on Route 1 South. Old cars have a fabulous hum that new cars just don't have! I also shot a few on the Hasselblad, but they will have to come later...Enjoy!
