The Bay // Texas

More details from recent travels and the Bay.  I love the big willowy trees that just sort of cover everything.  Everything seems a bit brighter and more colorful in Texas, no San Francisco fog there - thats for sure!

Galveston County

Back to Texas for a few days -- although I expected the hot hot heat of Houston, I was surprised with some relatively cool temps! Amazing, although it won't last long.  Galveston is one of my favorite destinations for funky sites and people watching.  The architecture is stunning and is reflective of the booming metropolis of Galveston's golden past, however after Hurricane Ike a few years ago, it is evident that the city will be rebuilding for a while -- which only adds to its funky charm.
